JFD241AQ1: A good example of what the Reguerín I pocket yielded. I liked its architecture, and that the Fluorite was mounted on Quartz with its characteristic perimorphs of Calcite, which have growth phantoms too and, in general, has more “life” than most other pieces from this pocket, whose specimens generally had larger cubes, but whose overall look was more “dull” than the appearance of this piece, which I always found to be very cheerful.
La Viesca Mine, Reguerín pocket, La Collada mining area, Huergo, Siero, Comarca Oviedo, Principality of Asturias (Asturias)  Spain (04/1994)

NFR66AQ1: A novelty for Spanish mineralogy (see: La extraordinaria paragénesis de minerales de mercurio de Usagre)
Group of Eglestonite crystals -a mineral species produced by the alteration of other mercury minerals - with the dominant forms of the octahedron, on matrix, of a honey color, translucent, and completely filling a vug, as well as being dispersed in the rest of the piece. They are accompanied by Calomel crystals with an adamantine luster, and small Mercury droplets that are sustained thanks to their high surface tension.
Both of the mercury halide species have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
These minerals are photosensitive, blackening easily in sunlight and even under the light of a lamp, so we recommend keeping them in the dark.

Specimen size: 2.8 × 1.8 × 1.5 cm = 1.10” × 0.71” × 0.59”

TFE91AQ1: Druse of very sharp Fluorite crystals, transparent, with good luster and an intense deep violet color. With selective coatings of Calcite and even a scalenohedral crystal that is of large size for the locality, where Calcite is normally rare. Also with parallel growths, which includes small second generation Fluorite crystals. The Calcite crystal exhibits some small cleavage, forgivable due to its uncommon size.
This very unusual specimen was in the collection of Tomás Cerezo in Alicante.
Los Cobayos Quarry (La Paredona), Berbes mining area, Los Cobayos, Berbes, Ribadesella, Comarca Oriente, Principality of Asturias (Asturias)  Spain (±1990)

Fluorite with Quartz after Fluorite

Fluorescent light (daylight)

TGG91AQ1: A large Fluorite crystal that was pseudomorphed by Quartz, microcrystalline in a first phase and with small translucent crystals of a later generation. Subsequent recrystallization of the Fluorite has created crystals with balanced cube and tetrahexahedron forms, transparent, with good luster and a uniform light blue color.
We must add that the locality produced only very few specimens, but which were very characteristic with the tetrahexahedron and the transparency and brilliance of the Fluorite crystals.
María de las Nieves Mine, Aurora vein, Caravia mining area, El Cuetu, Prado, Caravia, Comarca Oriente, Principality of Asturias (Asturias)  Spain

ETT37AQ1: Parallel growth of large Ferberite crystals, elongated, lustrous, and with coatings of rhombohedral Calcite-Dolomite crystals. Its definition and morphological perfection are outstanding, which is not common for this species in Panasqueira, not even in small specimens.
The specimen comes from the collection of Francisco Fernández Ortega.

Minas da Panasqueira, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro  Portugal

Gold with Quartz

Fluorescent light (daylight)

EPQ17AQ1: Dendritic growths of generally hooked Gold crystals, some with crystal forms deformed by curvatures, on Quartz matrix.
The specimen comes from a find at the end of the 19th century in a location practically unknown by the Gold seekers of the time, although it was later reported in scientific and popular publications, and was discovered by chance among the minerals for sale at a local merchant.

Hennebont, Lorient, Morbihan, Brittany/Bretagne  France (±1880)

Specimen size: 3 × 2.2 × 1.5 cm = 1.18” × 0.87” × 0.59”

Fine aerial growth of very sharp Axinite-(Fe) crystals, transparent, lustrous, brown with mauve tones, and with small white Albite coatings. No axinites like these were previously known from this locality.

Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans, Le Bourg d'Oisans Comune, Isère, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes  France (2019-2020)

Specimen size: 8.3 × 4.9 × 4 cm = 3.27” × 1.93” × 1.57”

ETR47AQ1: Large group of prismatic crystals of Pyromorphite on Baryte, with very good luster and an unusually deep and uniform green color.
On the Baryte matrix there are small tabular crystals of the same Baryte but with a very orange color, probably due to inclusions of iron oxides.
Les Farges Mine (Des Farges Mine), Ussel, Corrèze, Nouvelle-Aquitaine  France

EFM86AQ1: Equant crystals of Calcite, very rich in faces, transparent, with good luster and uniform yellow color, on matrix, with small Sphalerite crystals.
This specimen, which due to its quality and the size of the crystals should be considered as uncommon for the locality, comes from the collection of Pierre-Marie Guy.
Trèves Mine, Fournels Valley, Trèves, Gard, Occitanie  France (1971)

Specimen size: 24.5 × 12.3 × 13 cm = 9.65” × 4.84” × 5.12”
